Colorado Springs is the epicenter for the Air Force Space Mission and a natural fit for the Space Symposium.  Braxton maintains a strong marketing presence at the Space Symposium every year, occupying a prominent location in the Main Exhibit Hall at the Broadmoor. For 2016, Braxton’s focus was unveiling our alignment with the Enterprise Ground Services (EGS) initiative. 

But what exactly is EGS?  Air Force Space Command's (AFSPC) top boss, General John Hyten, has a vision of eliminating new ground systems going forward and laying the groundwork for a common architecture.  His concept is to create a set of standards that allow product companies like Braxton to easily integrate with this common system, creating efficiencies for the Government and the blue-suited space operators throughout the command.

Braxton has the capabilities to outfit an entire satellite operations center, and our message at the 2016 Symposium was to embrace the EGS vision. We had multiple stations within our booth, all with real capability to demonstrate, and all with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) presenting live demos to booth visitors, demonstrating our breadth and depth of knowledge.
