The latest GPS IIR-M satellite was successfully launched on October 17th 2007 using the new Launch/Early Orbit, Anomaly Resolution, Disposal, and Operations (LADO) System. This milestone ensures that the GPS program continues to provide superior space based navigation using industry leading technology. This significant achievement is the culmination of outstanding teamwork efforts between the U.S. Air Force, Braxton Technologies Inc., the engineering firm that designed the groundbreaking technology, and The Boeing Company, the prime contractor.

Braxton announced today Mr. Frank Backes as their Chief Executive Officer. He will oversee business development, program execution and company direction from their Colorado Springs, Colorado, office.

Braxton Technologies Inc. has opened an office in Colorado Springs, CO to support its growing satellite and aerospace business. "With Colorado representing over 157,000 space-related jobs, we felt the need to establish a base of operations in Colorado," says Frank Backes, CEO of Braxton Technologies.

The American Association for the Advancement of Science, ”Triple A-S” (AAAS), named a team of American and Russian scientists to receive the 2005 International Scientific Cooperation Award. The winners include Braxton Technologies’ Dr. Paul J. Cefola.

We had a fabulous turn out. We would like to thank all the folks that stopped by our booth. This was a great year for making new friends as well as some excellent potential business contacts.
